The Selection Committee of the New Jersey Women's Hall of Fame carefully reviews all nominations submitted. Nominations may be made at any time during the year; however, the committee typically makes its final selection of inductees by July of the preceeding year. The induction ceremony typically takes place in March of each year.
Inductees have to be from New Jersey or must have strong ties to New Jersey. The committee carefully reviews all nominations, performs additional research if necessary, and conducts interviews.
